Beef Breed Investment Calculator

There are many ways to evaluate a potential investment. Each method has its own merits but the recommended approach is to calculate the Net Present Value (NPV). NPV summarizes the expected net revenue produced by the investment into a single figure that is adjusted for risk, inflation and the time value of money. This calculator computes the NPV value for a breeding beef female. The calculator uses the process discussed in the Ag-dex publication How Much to Bid for Beef Cows. (# FS821-70)
